Jeriholics: Will The Last Man be showing in other theaters other than those in LA and New York?

H. Ralston: We are working on releases in Boston, Chicago and Seattle, with some college dates thrown in in other places, but I am not sure when and which theaters. Watch our website for details. The movie will be out on video in July through Lion's Gate. It would be a good idea to ask your video store to order it ahead of time, to insure they carry it.

Jerioholics: Is it true that there is a full frontal nude scene with Jeri Ryan? (please say no!)

H. Ralston: No, Jeri Ryan did not appear fully frontally nude in the film. However she does some revealing acting work that exposes her and makes her seem naked, (character-wise anyway).

Jerioholics: Was Roger Avary referring to the scene where the character takes off her shirt, but all the audience sees is her back?

H. Ralston: Regarding the Jeri Ryan nudity, yes the scene you see, (which goes on longer than in the trailer) was the primary scene he was referring to. (There are one or two others also in which her character is not wearing clothes.) But let me reassure you she has not compromised herself. Yes the scenes are more revealing than anything she has done in the past, but they are tasteful, true to her character and non-exploitaitive. So far her fans have been very impressed by her role of Sarah in the film, in that she develops a very subtle and complex character and demonstrates some abilities with humor she hasn't had enormous opportunities to explore before. Just so you know, she is very proud of the film, which she has promoted on Rosie and other shows recently.
